Spatial Separation of Enantiomers by Field-Modulated Surface Scattering

چکیده

A new optomechanical chiral resolution scheme for molecules possessing a permanent dipole moment is proposed. The approach involves the following molecular manipulation sequence: (i) alignment electromagnetic pulse, (ii) time-delayed orienting static electric field, and (iii) scattering from frictional surface. method offers various control parameters including pulse duration intensity, field strength, delay time, surface dynamic friction coefficient, incident velocity that can be tuned to optimize spatial enantioseparation. demonstrated prototypical HSOH molecule, predicting an enantiomeric excess as high 50%.
